Yootheme Zoo 2.4 Beta released

Yootheme has recently release the release of their ZOO 2.4 BETA which offers compatiblity with Joomla 1.6 and runs on both, Joomla 1.5 and 1.6! A lot of new features have been added but however they have not fully added features from the Joomla 1.6 ACL.

A major overhaul of the underlying framework has also been planned to make it more robust but most important they have created an abstraction layer for compatibllity between Joomla 1.6 and 1.5.

Features added

1. Notification system when comments and submissions are added.
2. New Event system which allows other components to easily attach themselves to the ZOO

The ZOO 2.4 BETA is exclusively available for members only who purchased the ZOO app bundle. As soon as ZOO 2.4 goes STABLE, it will be released for the public.
